Priyanka Chopra was left shocked and annoyed !!!

Priyanka Chopra is one angry woman these days. Buzz is that the actress was not on the ‘Gunday’ directors mind and that she was recommended for the lead role by none other than her cousin sister Parineeti Chopra.

According to sources, “Parineeti, was the one who recommended Priyanka for the lead role in the production house’s next, Gunday, opposite Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.” The source added, “Parineeti is like the baby at YRF. Everyone there loves her and she’s like family. She has worked there even before YRF launched her in Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl (2011).”

This didn’t go down well with the former Miss World, considering the fact that she is already a big star in Bollywood and that she needs no recommendation for films.

The source explains further, “When they began searching for the female lead in Gunday, a lot of discussions took place at the YRF office. They wanted a girl who could pull off a tough role with a lot of ease. That’s when Parineeti stepped in and suggested that they should consider Priyanka for the role.”

Adds the source, “When Parineeti suggested Priyanka’s name, there was no second thought. In fact, everyone at YRF was happy that Priyanka was selected as she suits the role perfectly. They were also glad that Parineeti suggested it.”

However, another source rubbished these rumors calling them baseless and said, a popular actress like PC doesn’t need to depend on any recommendation.
