Mind you, the song’s lyrics and video are scandalous enough to make heads turn. So heed the statutory warning: ample display of psychotropic substances ahead to give you a kick. Now proceed.
Three friends (Kunal Khemu, Vir Das and Anand Tiwari) are living it up in Goa and they land at a nightclub which is more of a dope den for serial junkies. Joints, reefers, pills, crack -- there is something for everyone.
The lyrics make it all the more explicit. “Aisa na kar na kar na kar mere yaar, Hai tu hi mera hope zara sa dope dila de mere yaar...Raat hai ek hore, hai maange more, Tu lootja slowly slowly..Ghaans ka kar jhol, tu karle roll, Magar beta slowly slowly.”
Saif Ali Khan plays Boris, a Russian gangster, who seems to be making sure that everyone’s having a good time. There is also a glimpse of Puja Gupta on the dance floor.
Go Goa Gone is directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. It is India’s first ever zombie comedy (zom-com) and has Saif Ali Khan playing the man who slays zombies. It’s produced by Saif Ali Khan, Dinesh Vijan and Sunil Lulla.
