Tum Tak shows Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor as teenagers. ‘Raanjhanaa’ Dhanush is madly, deeply in love with the girl-next-door Sonam Kapoor, who wouldn’t mind slapping him wherever and whenever she wants to. The song is a visual delight laced with passionate moments.
Since the movie is set in the city of Benaras, A.R. Rahman has tried to give the romantic song a quasi-classical feel, yet keeping the composition light on instruments.
Tum Tak is in the impressive vocals of Javed Ali and Keerthi Sagathia. Announcing the launch of the song, Dhanush tweeted, “Raanjhanaa first song trailer releases at 12... A R Rahman sir’s magic continues with Tum Tak. A perfect happy day. Raanjhanaa first song trailer.. everybody’s love story.”
Director Aanand L Rai also tweeted about the magic of Rahman: “Sleepless .... Yes I am sleepless and excited. This is what Rahman sir can do to you. He makes a director feel like a filmmaker.:)regards.”
Watching the video of Tum Tak, the viewers will be touched by the simplicity and innocence of the characters, the vivacious setting of Benaras, and the emotion of undying love.
