Huma Qureshi’s diamond ring gets stolen

The actress is said to be distraught after losing some precious jewellery

Last year Sonakshi Sinha lost jewellery worth lakhs during a late night shoot of Joker. And now Huma Qureshi seems to have lost family diamonds that has apparently left her heartbroken.

Sources say a diamond ring that once belonged to her grandmother and most probably a few more baubles went missing from the actress' home. Those close to her say Huma is distraught.

An insider says, `Huma was heard telling her friend how she was robbed. The ring was really close to her heart. After a late night shoot at Karjat, Huma returned to her house in Andheri and realised the jewellery was missing. She could have misplaced it though.

Besides, she had to leave for Goa so she hurriedly packed her bag and left to catch the flight.`

It was only after reaching Goa, the 26-year-old realised that her favourite ring was also missing.

`She is obviously upset as it's more about sentimental attachment than the cost of the ring. It might have been an expensive sparkler but in this case, what matters is the priceless nostalgia associated with it. After looking around for the rock in the house, she finally filed a complaint at Oshiwara police station today (Tuesday) morning, ` adds the informer.
