Sonam Kapoor, who will be seen going from a school girl to a mature adult in Anand L Rai’s Raanjhanaa, says that she gave her nod to the movie because the character of Zoya was very real and human. “I am not a trained actor, I can’t use glycerine, I can’t lie. After Delhi 6 and Aisha, I went into a completely wrong zone, and the Raanjhanaa script seemed like a god sent project,” she said.
Sonam identifies with her part so much that she says she could have even fallen in love with, and married Dhanush’s character Kundan in real life too! She feels that she wouldn’t think twice before tying the knot with a man like him. The babe may indulge in a lot of fun and banter with her co-star Dhanush (case in point: while entering the studio, SK took a dig at Dhanush by saying that the suit he was wearing looked like a raincoat!), but looks like she literally adores his onscreen character.
