There’s no end to the constant quibbling between the husband and wife duo with their newborn daughter at the centre of it all. The hubby snores at night. The wife admonishes him to snooze silently, lest the little one wakes up. And when the hubby falls off the bed with a loud thud, her reprimand is “Dheere se nahin gir sakte thhe?”
Playing the squabbling hubby-wife duo, Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan can’t seem to see eye-to-eye on anything. Whether their daughter’s feeling cold, or warm, or is just plain hungry.
Then enters Ram Kapoor who doles out his nugget of wisdom to Farhan: “Happy married life ke liye chhote chhote jhooth bolne padte hain.”
Thereafter starts a string of lies between the husband and wife.
