The "Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya" actor, who is the son of the late former chief minister of Maharashtra Vilasrao Deshmukh, has an architectural degree from Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture and Environmental Studies in Mumbai.
