But does Alia Bhatt have the time for her mother’s movie, since the young girl is busy with several projects? As for now, Alia is hard pressed, but the doting mother isn’t complaining. While talking to a tabloid, Soni Razdan says she can wait to direct Alia.
Soni Razdan has always been a driving force in Alia Bhatt’s life. The mother realized her daughter’s dream of becoming an actress when she was just 9. The Student Of The Year actress started her acting career with the movie Sangharsh where she played the young Preity Zinta. When young, Alia Bhatt even auditioned for a Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie, which could never take off.

Taking about her mother’s film, Alia Bhatt says, “We’ve discussed a film she wants to direct me in. It will happen at the right time. Mom knows exactly what to want, when.”
Seeing Alia’s growth as an actress in such a short span, mother Soni Razdan is a proud mother, hoping to direct her daughter soon.
Currently, Alia is busy with the promotions of Highway. She also has 2 States with Arjun Kapoor lined up for this year’s release.
