Post Taare Zameen Par and Stanley Ka Dabba, director Amol Gupte is back with Hawaa Hawaai, starring his son Partho Gupte and Saqib Saleem. The motion poster of the film was released on Youtube. Unlike Stanley Ka Dabba, Hawaa Hawaai is an out-and-out commercial film.
Partho Gupte has won a National Award for The Best Child Artist for his debut film Stanley Ka Dabba and Saqib Saleem, in a Yash Raj Films prodigy, with Mere Dad Ki Maruti as his debut film behind him.
Saqib Saleem plays a skating coach in the film. This is the first time a film is dealing with the sport of skating.
Apart from directing the film, Amol Gupte has also sung for the movie. He wants to reach out to children with his song, which will be based on Indian classical ragas. “I wanted to sing to the children of the nation. So, I wrote and composed Chule Ke Angaare. It’s an inspirational anthem for them and is an early morning rendition,” stated Amol Gupte.
The poster reads: Kuch Sapne Sone Nahin Dete, and it rightly describes the theme. The film deals with the sport of skating and aspirations and the power to dream big.
Amol Gupte has also approached Sridevi for a cameo in Hawaa Hawaai, as the title of his film considers the most famous dance number from hit film Mr. India.
Fox Star Studios has already sent feelers to Sridevi to make a special appearance in Hawaa Hawaai and are waiting to hear from her. The makers strongly feel that Sridevi should be a part of the film and she has only a couple of scenes.
Here’s wishing team Hawaa Hawaai all the best and we do hope that this one creates a stir at the Box Office.
