The traditionally exotic beauty, Zarine Khan, made a royal debut opposite none other than Salman Khan in VEER. The actress by chance told us, "You will not believe this but I never wanted to become an actor. But then I met Salman Khan. We talked a lot and you know the rest!"
Zarine then rocked the nation once again with Salman Khan via the sizzling dance number, 'Character Dheela Hai' (READY), and in the process showcased her dancing skills as well.
However most of Zarine's fans feel that she was best in Sajid Khan's HOUSEFULL 2 and Zarine agrees saying, "It was more of myself in HOUSEFULL 2. It was a role very close to my heart and the effort shows in HOUSEFULL 2.
Zarine will next be seen in a Punjabi film, JATT JAMES BOND, essaying a stellar role opposite Gippy Grewal. When we asked her if regional cinema finally coming of age was the reason for her signing a Punjabi film, the actress had some interesting answers and details for us. Says Zarine, "The answer lies in your question itself. Regional cinema is certainly coming of age and has become really big. Another reason is that as an actor one should always explore. More than that, I loved playing a pure Punjabi character. Let me also tell you that JATT JAMES BOND is not the usual kind of Punjabi film. It is actually a suspense film."
As a parting shot we asked Zarine about her Rambo D'Souza film supposedly based on a Hollywood venture CRANK and she once again revealed some exclusive details for our patrons. But more on that later.
