Former lovers Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma are quite fond of each other. But there’s something about Ranveer that Anushka still finds annoying. What is it?
Anushka Sharma who is the cover girl for the March issue of Filmfare magazine opens up about her real life chemistry with Ranveer Singh in the interview with the glossy.
Just to recap, Ranveer Singh made his acting debut opposite Anushka Sharma in Band Baaja Baaraat. It’s believed that the two began dating during the shooting of the film. They later worked together in Ladies V/s Ricky Bahl but the relationship didn’t last long.
So the obvious question arises, how did Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma bond during the filming of Zoya Akhtar’s film Dil Dhadakne Do aboard a cruise in the Mediterranean last year?
When asked if it was awkward working with Ranveer in 'Dil Dhadakne Do', Anushka Sharma said, “We didn’t have a conversation before shooting. In fact, we met three days before shooting on the ship. We met after a long time and it was like meeting an old friend. He is the same person. The thing is I’m very fond of Ranveer. And I know he’s genuinely fond of me. He has been my friend. We both had that success together. It was a special bond that will remain.”
So did they hit it off immediately when they met on the cruise ship?
“When we met, we were cracking jokes, we were laughing and we were talking non-stop. We were like we were in 'Band Baaja Baaraat'. That’s the way we are in real life. I share a comfort level with him.”
But Anushka still finds Ranveer annoying.
“He is a bit annoying. Because he builds it up and he is high on energy. And I’m like ‘Oh God’. But I have that kind of patience for him, which I won’t have for anyone.”
Anushka Sharma is presently dating cricketer Virat Kohli. Ranveer Singh is in a relationship with actress Deepika Padukone.
