Today morning we told you about a news that we got wind of a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan in Gauri Shinde’s next that stars Alia Bhatt. Well, it wasn’t a rumour after all. Karan Johar tweeted that it is a co-production between him and SRK with the actor and Alia in the lead. Now that’s one hell of a news that we got!
Now we told you how Gauri wanted a superstar for a small role in the film and SRK was her obvious choice. But if Karan’s tweet is anything to go by, it may not be a cameo after all. It seems SRK and Gauri unanimously decided on Alia’s name and also wanted SRK for a role. There are also three newcomers in the cast.
Now that really is a casting coup. But we wonder what kind of a story will Gauri weave for a starcast like that. Alia and Shah Rukh will definitely be the most unusual pairing.
