Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif who is paired opposite her real-life boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in upcoming film ‘Jagga Jasoos’ finds it difficult to work with him. According to her, it is not easy acting in front of known people as it seems forced.
“I feel it is difficult to work with people you know very well. I think it is easier to act in front of strangers. When someone knows you really well and you are acting in front of them... you feel a bit forced, you feel you are acting... as he knows you are lying,” Katrina told PTI.
Katrina and Ranbir have earlier worked together in ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ and ‘Rajneeti’, but it is for the first time she is working with Anurag Basu, director of ‘Jagga Jasoos’.
“I feel fortunate that I got to work with Dada (Anurag). Everyone wants to work with him. He is a mad genius, who nobody can control, but there is a method to his madness. He comes out with beautiful films that you don’t know where it came from. We respect his process and vision,” the 32-year-old actress said.
Couple of months ago, there were reports that Anurag had snubbed at Katrina in front of the whole unit of the film and all was not well between them. However, the ‘Phantom’ actress rubbished the reports and said, “This is a stupid rumour. People are assuming problems because the film is not following our desired schedule. Ranbir who had worked with dada, knows the way he works and so do I.”
Katrina also added that she is not frustrated over the delay ‘Jagga Jasoos’ is facing as her other film ‘Dhoom 3’ and ‘Bang Bang’ too were pushed ahead and it happens sometimes.
‘Jagga Jasoos’ revolves around a teenage detective searching for his missing father. The film which also stars Govinda is slated to release on June 3 next year.
