Emraan Hashmi has been shooting for his upcoming biopic film Azhar where the actor will play famous cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin. The makers are working on the film and we have to say they are working really as the actor is looking exactly like Azharuddin in this still from the film.They shot this image as Emraan wanted to surprise the former cricketer with this still since it is his birthday today. The Hamari Adhuri Kahani actor resembles the cricketer to quite an extent we have to say!
The actor specially shot for this photo which is inspired by Azhar’s early days when he made his debut as a Test cricketer in the 80’s. The actor wants to show this picture to thank the cricketer for the support and love he got from him.The teaser of the film was released a few months back where Hashmi was seen walking out of the pavilion amidst a cheering crowd. It may be noted here that the cricketer too was present at the teaser launch and was delighted with the response received from the fans and media.
Azhar is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Sony Pictures Networks, directed by Tony D’Souza. Azhar is all set to hit the cinemas on May 13, 2016.
