Filmmaker Jon Favreau’s 3D live-animation adventure fantasy film ‘The Jungle Book’ has sparked magic at the box-office. The film opened with overwhelming responses from the audience and earned Rs 45.83 crore within three days, making it the second highest opening of a Hollywood movie in India after ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’.
In the opening day on Friday, the film collected Rs.10.09 crore . The film witnessed a good growth on Saturday by collecting Rs.13.51 crore and on Sunday ‘The Jungle Book’ starring Indian-American actor Neel Sethi as Mowgli collected Rs 16.5 crore.

‘The Jungle Book’, a modern take on Rudyard Kipling’s timeless classic, originally published in 1894 was released in India in four different languages (English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu), Indian-American actor Neel Sethi plays Mowgli. The film also features Bill Murray as Baloo, Ben Kingsley as Bagheera, Idris Elba as Shere Khan and Lupita Nyong’o as mother wolf Raksha.
Bollywood stars likes Irrfan Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Nana Patekar, Shefali Shah and Om Puri have lent their voice for the Hindi version of The Jungle Book.
