WWE Announces Huge WrestleMania Rematch For Monday Night Raw

WWE has announced a huge match for the next episode of Monday Night Raw

While the show hasn’t been very loaded with high octane contests in the past few weeks, it’s expected that this matchup will certainly make up for it.

That’s because it’s no ordinary contest, but a WrestleMania rematch.

This year’s Mania might not have had the same sheen due to the lack of audiences, but it certainly delivered some amazingly worked matches between quality opponents.

One of these matches was fought between The Prizefighter Kevin Owens and The Monday Night Messiah Seth Rollins. Even though it wasn’t for a title, the two men gave it their all and delivered a highly entertaining contest.

Now, the WWE is all set to re-hash this matchup for the latest edition of Monday Night Raw.

Is WWE using Kevin Owens properly?
At WrestleMania, Owens was given a huge push when he pinned Seth Rollins clean after landing an elbow on him, jumping from the WrestleMania sign.

While he should have been in title contention soon after, it’s disheartening to see him play second fiddle to Rey Mysterio.

WWE is already wasting too many talents on this rivalry, Humberto Carillo and Aleister Black being case in point. Kevin Owens just adds to that laundry list of names who are victims of creative bankruptcy by WWE writers and hence find themselves latching on to other people’s programmes.

However, on a positive side, it’s good if Owens continues to get screen time until the creative find a good opponent for him.

Talking about Seth Rollins, it seems like he’s all set to take the fall against Rey Mysterio. The entire rivalry has been about the redemption curve of Mysterio and him proving himself to his son.

Given that Extreme Rules should be the conclusion of their rivalry, you can expect Mysterio to pick out the eye of Seth Rollins.

Hence, our future points towards a Monday Night Messiah with an eye patch.

Are you satisfied with the way things are working over on Monday Night Raw?
