It’s learnt that Saif Ali Khan was looking for a great comedy to star in and had even approached Housefull 2 director Sajid Khan to direct films for his production house, but since Sajid Khan is a team with the producer Sajid Nadiadwala, he politely declined the offer.
Now when Sajid Nadiadwala is making Judwaa 2 with Sajid Khan as the director, the latter roped in Saif Ali Khan. Both Sajid and Saif were willing to do a film together, and the idea of a comedy like Judwaa 2 just came at the right time.
It seems after dabbling in romance (Love Aaj Kal), political drama (Aarakshan) and action (Agent Vinod), Saif is more keen to do comedy. With Sajid Khan raking in big moolah with Housefull 2, Judwaa 2 could add another superhit to his cap, and that would surely benefit Saif.
Currently Saif Ali Khan has only one film Cocktail with Deepika Padukone and newbie Diana Penty.
Judwaa 2 is expected to release by early 2013, but why Salman Khan is not starring in the sequel of Judwaa? Any guesses!
