The second season of Indian Super League (ISL) kick-starts with a bang with some stupendous performances by Bollywood stars. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who was away from performing live for few years’ rock the stage of ISL at the inaugural ceremony as she grooved on some of her hit numbers. She danced on her hit tracks such as Dola Re Dola, Dhoom Dhoom. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, who was also present on the occasion clapped as Ash performed.

Another attraction of the event was performance by music maestro AR Rahman. He played the national anthem at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here. The 45-minute programme was filled with pomp and show. The event saw attendees like Sachin Tendulkar, Rajinikanth, Mukesh and Nita Ambani, besides the Bachchan family.
Bansi Kaul's troop performed in the beginning. Young actor Alia Bhatt grooved on the track of her debut film ‘Student of the Year’, besides performing to the ISL theme song 'Let's Football'.
Host Arjun Kapoor introduced the franchises owners of opening day fixture Atletico de Kolkata and Chennaiyin FC. They were called on to the stage and Ash also entered the scene. "Together with your support we will make ISL a success," said Nita Ambani, the inspiration behind the initiative and founder chairperson of Football Sports Development.
South superstar Rajinikanth hugged cricket legend and Kerala Blasters' co-owner Sachin Tendulkar. Two close buddies Rajnikanth and Amitabh Bachchan took the stage and shared few words. The audince went berserk on spotting their favorite stars under one roof.
