Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor were seen together last in ‘Kambakhtq Ishq’ which bombed at the box office. However, if things go as planned, the two may pair up once again for the sequel of the last year’s superhit ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’.
The first part had Emraan Hashmi play the role of Dawood Ibrahim and in the second part, Akshay Kumar will step into his shoes.
While there had been guesses for long as to who would play his love interest, it now seems that Kareena Kapoor has finally bagged in the role.
Earlier, lot of actresses like Sonakshi Sinha, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra were considered for the role but now it seems that the makers have zeroed in on Kareena Kapoor for this role. Talented as both the actors are, we hope that they will make it work this time!!
