Neil Is Happy To Play Negative Shade In Players

After playing the anti- hero in Johnny Gaddaar and a grey character in 7 Khoon Maaf, actor Neil Nitin Mukesh will be once again seen playing a negative character in the upcoming heist thriller Players and the actor seemed quite kicked about being bad on screen.

Neil was quoted to have said, “The bad guy is in! The world today is cut out for the bad guy…and if that’s what women like, I shall give it to them. I want to play characters on screen that are completely in contrast to what I am off-screen. It’s a challenge because I awaken that side which is dormant and it gives my personality a complete flip.”

Neil also added that the performances of Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan in Don and Baazigar are a source of constant inspiration to him. Incidentally, SRK recently essayed the role of the criminal mastermind Don, which had been played by Amitabh Bachchan a few decades ago and Neil Nitin Mukesh was rumoured to have been finalised to essay the character of Khan in the Baazigar remake, though director duo Abbas-Mustan later denied the rumours.
Players is the official remake of The Italian Job and stars Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, Sonam Kapoor and Bobby Deol, among other stars.
