Actress Sameera Reddy’s hush-hush wedding to her beau Akshai Varde is slated for today. Though the fashionista had earlier announced that she would tie the knot in April, the wedding has reportedly been planned for today, January 21.
Sameera Reddy has been dating Akshai Varde, a 31-year-old entrepreneur, for the past two-and-half years or so. Akshai owns a company that builds custom-made bikes. And it was the love for bikes that brought Sameera and Akshai together.
How did love blossom between Sameera and Akshai? Once Sameera used to a ride a bike by Vardenchi (Akshai's company), and when she met the man behind her bike they hit it off instantly. Soon the liking turned into love and the two decided to tie the knot.
Sameera got engaged to Akshai at her Bandra residence on December.
“The wedding was slated for April but 15 days ago, Sameera and Akshai decided that they should tie the knot in January itself. Later this year, Akshai will be getting very busy expanding his business and has to travel a lot,” a friend of Sameera is quoted as saying by a daily.
According to sources, the two will wed in a private ceremony amidst a few friends and relatives. The marriage is happening in Bandra today, and the couple has tried their best to keep the details of the wedding under wraps.
For the wedding, Sameera has selected wedding ensemble designed by her good friend Neeta Lulla. Apparently, both the bride and the groom will be dressed by Neeta.
Another Bollywood wedding is planned for today and that’s of Amita Pathak (of Bittoo Boss fame) with the music composer and singer Raghav Sachar. It’s going to be a big event to be attended by the Bollywood celebs like Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty.
