Sushant's co-star Sanjana Sanghi records statement at police station

Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's Dil Bechara co-star Sanjana Sanghi recorded her statement at Bandra police station on Tuesday with regards to the ongoing investigation into the actor's death on June 14.

Sanjana debuts in Dil Bechara, which is releasing next month on a streaming platform. The movie, based on American author John Green's bestseller The Fault in Our Stars, is Sushant's last movie.

The police is looking at allegations of professional rivalry and other angles as part of the investigation into the actor's death.

Mukesh Chhabra, the movie's director and a close friend of Sushant, has already recorded his statement in the case.

Sanjana Sanghi has left Mumbai and returned to her hometown Delhi. The actor shared a photo from Mumbai airport as she bid adieu to the city.

Deeply affected by the death of her Dil Bechara co-actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjana, along with the post, wrote, “Goodbye Mumbai. Met you after four months. Now I am returning to Delhi. This time, the streets of Mumbai looked unusually quiet and empty. Maybe it is because of the sadness in my heart that I felt so, or maybe you are upset too.”

She said goodbye to the city, hoping to meet soon or not as she wrote, “Milte hain? Jaldi. Ya Shayad, nahi.”
